I'm Chandrasekar Rathinam, a freelance Cyber Security Consultant, Trainer and Blogger based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu with over 12+ years of hands-on experience. My primary focus is developing highly secure systems designed to withstand even the most sophisticated attacks.
My expertise lies in conducting thorough security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and designing robust security architectures. I work closely with clients to develop and implement tailored security strategies, policies and procedures that align with their unique business needs and regulatory requirements — from cloud-native startups to regulated enterprises.

Security Analyst
Started in security operations and vulnerability management, building the fundamentals of monitoring, triage and remediation across enterprise networks.
2015 — 2019
Security Engineer
Implemented and hardened identity, endpoint, network and perimeter controls, and moved into hands-on application and infrastructure penetration testing.
2019 — 2022
Cloud & DevSecOps Lead
Led cloud migrations securely across AWS and Azure, embedded security scanning into CI/CD pipelines, and codified guardrails as infrastructure-as-code.
